I was planning on scanning the Gold Book next but my main scanner dying on me has created some issues. First, the CCFL in the borrowed scanner isn't bright enough to counteract some optical properties of the acrylic sheeting I was using to raise the scan platen up (ends up causing ring-shaped color patterns to show on pages). There are 3 options to get around this:
1- Deal with it
2- Replace the acrylic platen extension with high-quality glass
3- Wait for the main scanner to come back online (unknown if it ever will, sadly)

good to hear that.
When are we going to see the Macross Gold Book?

Darn, oh well, really happy with the work you've been doing anyhow.
I've started scanning the book, just the grayscale parts to start with. Depending on how tests with the color pages go...
Can anyone tell me the name of the artist that did this Ghost in The Shell / Studio Ghibli mashup illustration? It's great!
Addition to my earlier statement: the color pages are scanning well, should get it done by the end of the week.
